Ponderosa Dried Chanterelle Mushrooms with their sweet fruity aroma and rich pumpkin hue are a delight to chefs and gourmets alike. A natural choice for chops, stews, sautes and pasta sauces.

Note: 0.5 oz/ 14g of dried mushrooms equals about 2.5 oz/ 70g of fresh product.

To Rehydrate: Soak in a bowl of warm water, wine or stock for 20 minutes or until tender. Strain through a cheesecloth or filter reserving the flavorful liquid for use in soups, stocks or sauces. When preparing soups or stews, the dried mushrooms can be added without rehydrating as they revive during the slow cooking process.
